Social Service Support Agencies and Organizations
In May 2006, representatives from 22 local organizations in Washington State's Chelan and Douglas Counties met with the intention of enhancing existing resources and developing needed community services while creating new partnerships.
Since then the group has mobilized with a growing volunteer membership of social service agencies and organizations and is now called The Partnership for Children and Families.
The Partnership is improving communication methods between coalition member agencies, meeting with lawmakers, and actively sharing resources and information to assist in seeking funds in order to build a healthy community of strong families.
